Our round-up of 2022!

As another year comes to a close, it’s always great to look back on the year just gone – and, 2022 has certainly been a remarkable 12-months for Skout! From celebrating our 12th  birthday, to being placed in Prolific North’s top 50 PR agencies list and winning two awards at the Marketing and PR Brilliance Awards. In celebration, we have rounded up all of our highlights to remember our tremendous year. Enjoy!

Growth

It’s safe to say that 2022 has brought its challenges to all businesses no matter the industry. That’s why we’re so grateful for our continued growth this year, from securing new client wins to expanding our fantastic team. Recognising our success, Skout has been listed at number four in Prolific North‘s top 20 fastest growing PR agencies in 2022!

And, that’s not all. As a result of our growth, we have been able to bring new talent to the business. This includes our new head of technology practice, Lee Simpson, who brings an abundance of expertise in B2B Tech sector. Alongside Lee, Jack Doyle has also joined our tech team as a senior account manager, whilst Laaraib Khan joins us as an account executive, supporting our built environment clients with her industry knowledge.

We have also had the pleasure of training up not one, but two new account executives! James Weaver and Isobelle Yoxall have been taken under the wings of the Skout team, embarking on their first role in the world of PR and marketing.

And finally, our account director, Claire James, moved into the newly created role of client services director, to develop and strengthen relationships across our client base.

If you are considering a career with Skout, get in touch with us to find out more.

Events

As PR and marketing is a constantly evolving world, it’s crucial we stay on top of changing industry trends and news to provide the best services for our clients. As a result, we always try to attend some of the best events the industry has to offer, from the Manchester Tech Festival to the B2B Marketing Expo and the CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition!

Not only have we been busy attending industry events, but we have also been travelling to locations up and down the UK to meet our brilliant clients. From Abingdon and Birmingham to London and Dublin, the Skout team have enjoyed stepping away from the camera to meet with clients face-to-face.

Awards

We’re delighted to have won two awards at this year’s Marketing & PR Brilliance Awards including Best PR/Marketing Consultancy. The categories include the Brilliance in PR/Communications category and Best Marketing/ PR Consultancy category. Of course, none of this could have been achieved without the amazing work of our team!

Social

With one of our core values being ‘Fun’, its vital we take the time to get together and celebrate our hard work! Whether that’s enjoying far too many drinks at this year’s PRMoment Awards, or at our annual Christmas party, where we ventured to our neighbouring city of Manchester for a sophisticated dinner at Fazenda (and a less sophisticated round of karaoke!)

We would like to thank all our clients, partners, and (of course) our brilliant team for their support and hard work this year.

Bring on 2023!
