Skout builds on strong construction foundations with Assent Building Control

We are excited to share that we have recently gained a new client in the built environment sector!

We will be working with Yorkshire-based Assent Building Control to create a thought leadership programme for the business and build its profile within the industry

Assent is at the forefront of Building Control in the UK and has an excellent reputation, offering a very high level of service. Looking to improve its share of voice in key trade media and reinforce its position as the market leader, Assent turned to us to not only raise its brand awareness but to also create content to help boost its market presence.

Iain Thomson, CEO at Assent, was keen to work with a consultancy that understands the market and its challenges and wanted to select a B2B marketing agency that had experience, expertise, and enthusiasm – and we ticked all the boxes.  He said:

“The team at Skout has many years of experience delivering communications campaigns and thought leadership for B2B service organisations, and with brands working in the built environment. With a such a great track record in B2B, Skout impressed us with its industry knowledge and enthusiasm for our brand.”

Here at Skout, we are always keen to work with new clients to extend our knowledge of a variety of industries and sectors. We have some great experience in this market within our team and our partnership with Assent Building Control will give us a chance to put our knowledge to good use.

The construction sector has long struggled with issues around insolvency. This could, in part, be due to the fact that there are so many sole traders and small firms out there sub-contracting that have struggled financially with the Covid-19 situation and then with the supply chain price increases. But the industry has been sitting at a rate of between 750...
