Why was Operations your chosen career?
I realised that Business Operations and Finance is the ideal path for me as I’ve always been passionate about finance and business, and I really love problem-solving. I love the challenging nature of the role and it is incredibly satisfying for my numerical mind to tackle challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth. It’s where my knack for problem-solving comes alive. It’s a bit like being part of the backstage crew in a show, ensuring that everything runs smoothly so the business can shine in the spotlight.
If you hadn’t chosen this as a career, what would you be doing?
I always had new ideas about what I wanted to be so I never know, really. I suppose if I was a bit better at biology in school, I would have chosen to become a zoologist as I’d love to work with animals.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given
If you never ask, you’ll never get it.
If you won the lottery, how would you spend it?
I’d give some of it to my immediate family and invest the rest into property around the UK and my home country, Hungary.
What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
I’ve had a fair few, but I think the worst was in a textile workshop when I was 20. I was hand filling pillows and such… it was very noisy and dusty. I developed asthma in the 3 months I worked there.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
I would say a cat or a dog as I love them, but my enthusiasm to travel makes me think I’d rather be a bird. I could just fly wherever and whenever I want, that would be cool.
If you could, would you live forever and why/why not?
Absolutely! There are so many beautiful places on this planet that a lifetime isn’t enough to see and experience them all. I’d be sad of course losing loved ones.
Who are your top three dream dinner party guests?
I would definitely invite my late grandma as I miss her a lot. I would invite Brian Cox as I love listening to him talk about the universe, and David Attenborough to talk about animals and the planet.
