More awards recognition for Skout!

Another week, another awards nomination for us here at Skout! We’re delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for three PRCA DARE Awards and two Prolific North Awards. This follows our recent hat trick of shortlists for the PR Moment Awards earlier this year.

For both the PRCA DARE and Prolific North Awards we’ve been shortlisted for work we delivered on behalf for our client Wax Digital in the Integrated Communications campaign and Trade and B2B campaign of the Year categories. These dedicated campaigns saw us create content such as guides, thought leadership articles, an online quiz and new stories for in bound marketing, lead generation and PR. These campaigns also helped support the company’s digital marketing goals and SEO

We’re also chuffed to be recognised in the Small PR Agency of the Year category for both awards. In these categories we are up against some of the North’s leading B2B PR agencies all aiming to take the top title. Our entries demonstrate how as an agency we champion the need for fresh communication approaches to a variety of serious business topics and niche audiences. This double recognition from two separate judging panels also supports our ambitions by helping us take a step closer to being recognised as the North West’s (and UK’s) top B2B PR agency.

Being shortlisted for an incredible eight awards so far this year is a true testimony to all our hard work as an agency.

To kick off the awards season we will be attending our first event this evening for the PR Moment Awards in Manchester. A black tie event with a champagne reception is always a treat, so we’re certain that we and our fellow B2B PRs and marketers on the shortlist will have a great night. Keep your fingers crossed for us, and we’ll let you know how we get on!

I recently attended a leadership training course where we were asked to define our leadership style and our core values. We were guided through this exercise during the course but it got me thinking about my core values – the things that, when challenged, can prompt a physical reaction and an emotional response. It didn’t take me long to work...

But the industry has been sitting at a rate of between 750...
