Skout stands out on the 2023 PR Moment Awards shortlist

2023 is off to a strong start here at Skout.

Our business has continued to grow with the addition of some exciting new clients. With new clients, has come new hires, who we’ve also been excited to welcome on board the team. And if our recent win for Best Marketing and PR Consultancy at the PR Brilliance Awards is anything to go by, we have a feeling that 2023 will also be a great year for award wins too…

So what better place to start than the PR Moment (North) Awards? Taking place in Manchester later this month, the PR Moment Awards celebrate the best PR campaigns and agencies hailing from the North’s booming PR scene. Excitingly, Skout has been shortlisted for four (yes, that’s right, four!) categories at this year’s awards, and we’re struggling to contain our excitement…

#MieleCares

Our #MieleCares campaign put our client Miele Professional (GB)’s expertise on white goods to good use by engaging senior care home professionals following the pandemic. It wowed the judges for not one, but two categories – B2B Campaign of the Year and Integrated Communications Campaign of the Year

This multi-channel campaign saw us gather survey and forum insights from care home decision-makers, allowing us to produce well-needed educational content on infection prevention during challenging times. The campaign generated a variety of impressive results, including coverage in some of the top publications for the care sector; Nursing Magazine and Care Home Professional – to name a few. Hopefully, the campaign will result in a win for us at this year’s awards too!

Making Tax Sexy

We were thrilled to see one of our other campaigns shortlisted for Financial Services Sector Campaign of the Year too. ‘Making Tax Sexy’ solidified indirect tax solutions provider Vertex’s leading stance within the tax sector and enhanced its reputation as a thought leader, achieving a whopping 39 pieces of organic coverage over the course of the campaign.

We achieved this by giving tax a much-needed facelift, re-framing the role of the tax specialist as an exciting and multi-faceted figure within the modern day world. Through a combination of press-facing content and bespoke thought-leadership, we explored everything from digitalisation and financial transformation to ‘women in tax’ – ultimately allowing us to boost Vertex’s share of voice, increase brand awareness, and secure several award wins. A sexy campaign indeed!

B2B PR Agency of the Year

And finally, last but not least, Skout snagged itself a lovely little spot on the shortlist for B2B PR Agency of the Year. This is a fantastic reflection of the strong year we’ve just had – not only from a growth and prosperity perspective, but also the fun and creative campaigns we’ve had the pleasure of working on.

Having gone up against some very tough competition from the North’s ever-evolving PR scene, we are happy to have made our mark at this year’s awards and look forward to attending on April 25th!

Make sure to keep an eye out on our socials for more updates on the night, and please, if you haven’t already, wish us luck!
